Avant Green 97 connects building owners, management companies and primary lien holders with Pace financing originators, engineers and architects specializing in carbon reduction retrofits, and Green building manufacturers to help them reduce their carbon footprint. We can facilitate these introductions by instantiating data on buildings covered by local laws and other municipal regulatory vehicles that aim to reduce overall emissions by capping a property’s energy consumption based on its use type.

Promoting Green Building Sustainability Through Data
Avant Green 97 is the first national database of large commercial buildings covered by energy emissions caps, documenting their energy output, primary lien holders and property owners. The name is derived from New York City Local Law 97, a first in the nation regulation that looks to cap energy output for buildings larger than 25 thousand square feet, based on use type. Our dataset categorizes the primary use types for all buildings, including multiuse properties such as universities, condos, and office buildings with restaurants, parking garages and residential spaces.
We aim to facilitate lowering the carbon footprints of these properties, which currently account for 45% of all emissions in our cities.
